Clive Markland

 

Mr. Markland is a former felony prosecutor and experienced trial lawyer in the Texas community, previously being a named partner to a prestigious midsize firm and Of Counsel to a nationally recognized insurance defense firm in the United States. Mr. Markland enjoys courtroom advocacy in the most complex and high stake cases.

Throughout his legal career, Mr. Markland has tried more than 50-plus trials to verdict. His experience has afforded him a wide range of clients and trials where he has represented several Fortune 500 Companies and former NFL players.

Due to Mr. Markland’s extensive experience, he has had incredible success managing litigation in complex civil litigation. His work ethic and ability are second to none.  Clients have found Mr. Markland open and reassuring, bringing passion into the courtroom and office every day.

Mr. Markland has been awarded a Rising Star from Super Lawyers in 2013, 2014, and 2015.

Mr. Markland holds the position of adjunct professor at Thurgood Marshall School of Law where he teaches Trial Advocacy. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Fisk University in 1997 and his J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2000.
